Hi, I am Rashi Jain!
The photo that you see on the left is of me at the Mars Desert Research Station in Hanksville, UT where I was a Crew Journalist for the MDRS Mission in December 2024. Since you've made it to this page, I'll let you see the snippets of my Journal entry for the mission. I have since graudated with a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University (June 2025) and am currently working on setting up an Aerospace Research Lab with a focus on space exploration research and building software that makes it possible.
I come from India. I completed 5th grade there. I then moved to my second home Sierra Leone (it's a beautiful place - would definitely recommend traveling there)! I did 6th - 10th grade there. I then moved to Maldives (another beautiful country) where I completed 11th and 12th grade, before moving to the US for higher studies. The map here here shows all the places I've touched.
